Questions Brokers Ask Before Partnering

Do I lose the listing if I bring it to Prestige?
No. The listing stays with you. Your name is on the sign, on the marketing, and in every conversation with your seller. Prestige works as the auctioneer underneath you. We are not a competing brokerage and we never represent the seller against you.
How does my commission work?
You earn the same commission you would on a traditional sale, paid through closing on both sides. Prestige is compensated separately through the buyer's premium, paid by the winning bidder. Your commission doesn't shrink, doesn't get split with us, and doesn't depend on the final hammer price.
What kinds of property work best at auction?
Unique, luxury, and hard-to-comp listings perform best: mountain homes, ranches, large-acreage land, custom architecture, estate and trust property, and listings that have been sitting longer than 90 days. If a property has no true comparables or a seller with a hard deadline, auction is almost always a better path than another price reduction.
What does my seller actually pay?
Sellers pay zero commission to Prestige. They invest in the marketing campaign, and the buyer's premium compensates the auctioneer. Most sellers net more through a successful auction than they would after months of carrying costs and price reductions. Janelle walks through the math on the call.
How do I introduce this to my seller?
That's exactly what the strategy call covers. Do I have to sign anything to start?
